Loving God, loving people

Hi, I'm Dan Foster and I'm the pastor at Howlands. I've been here with my wife Tanya since September 2007; we love this church.  We have two children, Erine and Aidan. I trained at Spurgeon's College, London and was ordained in July 2010. I am also a professional jazz saxophonist working freelance with different groups including Kairos Ensemble and Now's the Time

Hi, my name is Fang. I have been at Howlands with my five-year old son, Ian, since August 2014. I am one of the Deacons in the church and enjoy teaching Sunday School. We love Howlands as you can always be yourself in the church. I work as a Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.

My name is Elaine and I am originally from Ghana.
I have been attending Howlands with my family since 2013.
I am one of the Deacons and Junior Church Leaders. Also a wife, mum of two girls and work full time in the Pharmaceutical Industry!
Worshipping here has been a blessing. There is a great sense of unity, love, diversity and inclusion in the church with sermons that encourage faith as a believer, following Jesus' example and the presence of the Holy Spirit. This inspire me as part of a church family where I can always partake freely in God's presence.

My name is Ruth and I have enjoyed being part of this church for 17 years. I'm one of the Deacons. Howlands is a place where everyone receives a warm welcome and is encouraged to find out more about the Christian faith.
